​Stories Illuminated Entertainment™ began life as Najafi Design, founded in 2008 by lighting designer Sohail e. Najafi. After several successful solo years, Sohail joined forces with colleague and long-term friend Joshua Cuellar and incorporated Najafi Design Group LLC in 2013.

Following a period of rapid expansion in 2016, NDG was re-launched as Stories Illuminated Entertainment in early 2017. 

 

Today Stories Illuminated™ brings together the efforts of over five decades of cumulative design and production experience specializing in lighting, audio, video & production design, special effects, and technical direction for live production, television, corporate experiential, concert touring, and permanent architainment installations.
